One of the things (apart from the great route) that make the Hairy Legs special is the great atmosphere we have at the Start/Finish and Transition area. We love having spectators, families and supporters along. There is always something going on – whether it be the main challenge entering the field, or the Little Legs tearing around it is a great event for spectators.

Over the years the ‘Tented Village’ has grown considerably. There will be a climbing wall for the older children, a bouncy castle for the younger ones. There will be a massage tent for all those sore competitors!  We will have exhibitors from many sports manufacturers – Adidas, Kona, Commencal and Giant.to name just a few.

Of course there will be teas, coffees, bbq and other refreshments including the infamous Blenda Venda – the chance to pedal and make your own smoothie!
